how to convert your bike to tubless using the "ghetto" method part 2 www.youtube.com Step 1: prepping your rim Step 2: stretch tube over your rim Step 3: unfold tube over the rim and clean off the powder Step 4: mount your tire Step 5: see if the tire will inflate on your rim Step 6: dismount second bead and apply sealant... then remount bead Step 7: apply soap and water *DO NOT skip this step Step 8: shake it down and lay it flat Step 9: shave off excess tube Step 10: throw them on and ride! Be careful to check tire pressure before every ride. so for those of you wondering what the advantages of tubeless tires is... here they are. - ability to run lower tire pressure without having to worry about pinch flats. which results in better traction and lower rolling resistance. - takes weight off the outer most part of the wheel. which is where it requires the most torque / force to spin the tire. ie. lower rolling resistance. - with sealant in your tires, you dont have to worry about puncture flats. - there's more. those are the hightlights. do your own research.
