Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to clean and lube your motorcycle chain. I know there are a few different ways, and my moto jargon is probably not perfect, but this is pretty basic and something everyone should know how to do. It the easiest way to get the longest life out of your chain and sprocket. You should lube it every 300-500 miles, and do a full clean and lube such as I am doing here every 3000 miles, but my chain is starting to get old and kinked, so I do it anytime it seems dirty or dry.
