It helps to carry around a little tire plug kit on your motorcycle. You never know when you'll catch a nail and need to do a road side emergency repair. This video shows you how to plug a hole in your tire. I forgot to add that you don't need to insert the plug in that deeply. One inch is enough. Also, don't leave the plug dangling out. It *MUST* be trimmed. If it isn't trimmed, it will work itself out, especially on a motorcycle tire.
